In the orbital content model, users vote with their content (opnieuw via Okke). There's an idea that somehow, if we just do things with more effort or skill, we can go back to [...] mass markets and mediocre products that pay off for years. It's [...] a myth.' En hij vervolgt: 'The opportunity is there for anyone [...] smart enough to take it - to develop a best in class skill, to tell a story, to spread the word, [...] to run from the mediocre middle and to change everything.'
Ik noem er 3: 'Tradition is not a business model. The past is no longer a reliable guide to future success', '“Should” is not a business model. You can say that people “should” pay for your product but they will only if they find value in it' en tot slot: 'Disruption is the law of the jungle and the internet. If someone can do what you do cheaper, better, faster, they will.' Vervang 'news organization' gerust door 'entertainment industry'...
  • Eat that, Tim Kuik! Last.fm is ook op zoek naar een succesvol business model: 'Free on-demand not successful for us' (via Digimuziek).
Tja...

Fijne Koninginnedag morgen! Ik loop nog een rondje om Ameland.

Geen opmerkingen:
